I haven't written anything about Ben Portsmouth lately. I know that Ben is a busy man travelling all over the country doing his Elvis 'thang. He is still mahhhhhhhhhhvelous in my book. I read a recent entry by Ben on facebook. Seems that some people were giving him a hard time over not holding our flag??? He stated it was getting in his way of holding the microphone.

People, this is ridiculous. Some people can be so rude. I have seen many videos and I know Ben Portsmouth is a very courteous and polite person.

I have always heard it said that things are bigger and better in Texas. Well that must be true because Ben Portsmouth is on his way. He will be in Texas to perform: 18th July - Trinity Audortorium - Athens,Texas; 19th July - Opry Theatre - Weatherford,Texas. My question: Ben is so big world wide, can Texas hold him? We shall see. Just a hunk a hunk of burning love....

Did we ever think we would see anyone even close to him in voice, looks, mannerisms, or charisma? Enter Ben Portsmouth. To those of you who do not like Ben Portsmouth, leave the building please! Ben Portsmouth has brought Elvis to life again, unlike the other Elvis Tribute Artists, try as they may. None can capture the pure essence of Elvis like Ben. So in my book, Ben Portsmouth is the NEW KING. Ben needs to spend more time in America. After all Ben, this is where Elvis was born and died. Perhaps you can move over here and build your own Graceland?:) Elvis loved America and so must you Ben. Get your gorgeous self over here!!!!! Let's hear some cheers for that one! More later. Mermaids love Ben Portsmouth too! They just wish he had a fin:) I must write this article and it is for Elvis fans. If you did not like Elvis see a shrink(just kidding). I have been watching Ben Portsmouth for about 3 months. Someone on Facebook posted a video of him. I clicked on it out of curiosity only because I have never cared for Elvis impersonators. I did not expect to watch much. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I literally found myself breathless and ALL SHOOK UP. It seemed as though I had stepped back in time - to those wonderful days when I could hardly wait for Elvis' next tour because I would be there on or near the front row.
Ben Portsmouth is as close as one will ever get to our dearly departed Elvis Presley. From the top of his gorgeous head to the tips of his toes, he radiates Elvis Presley. Just watching him on video (I haven't had the pleasure of seeing him in person yet) leaves you with the feeling that Elvis is back - he never left the building.
Ben is from the United Kingdom and is the first man outside of the United States to ever win the EPE Elvis Tribute Artist award. He is around 30 years old and single. He has a son named Harry.
Ben is a natural showman. It is easy to see he loves every minute that he is on stage. He not only enjoys making his audience happy, but bringing Elvis back to them makes him happy. He has Elvis' same sultry good looks and his moves are scrumptious-delicious. Ben has obviously spent much time and energy perfecting Elvis' smooth moves. Ben you have it to a T! He has that Elvis Charisma, stage presence and just like the king himself, Ben Portsmouth knows how to romance his audience.
Ben Portsmouth is the only Elvis Tribute Artist I will ever watch. He is the best. Ben I see your name in lights in Vegas and I Can't Help Falling in Love With You!

I saw this man, Ben Portsmouth, on you tube and was totally blown away. I have never been into Elvis impersonators. But, I am a die hard Elvis fan since I was 8 years old. However, on t.v. here and there I have seen some. YUK. Nothing worse than an ugly or non-Elvis looking impersonator. This guy has got it. I am an Elvis pro. He has Elvis' moves 100 percent and his looks I would say 85 percent. HE IS GREAT!

UPDATE ON BEN PORTSMOUTH: I found out yesterday that Ben is a little older than I was told. He is 33 years old and will be 34 in June, the month I was born. HA. Us Geminis are something else.
I can't believe what I'm seeing and hearing, Elvis is BACK!! I can't find the words, where has he been? He needs to come to America, like right now.

ReplyDeleteI also fell in love with BEN after seeing him on You Tube!! He has the voice...the moves...and the sexy charisma that Elvis Presley had. I was very privileged to see him perform "live" at the Elvis Festival in Las Vegas...and meet him in person. He is very kind and gracious to his fans!! What a beautiful person...as well as an extremely talented artist!!

I'm also a big Elvisfan for as long as i can remember.
And i also was blown away when i saw Ben for The first time on YouTube.
My daughter and Son in law took me to a show of Ben during His germany tour as a birthday present.
I had the time of my life.it was really awesome.
And now i wanna go visit more shows.
But sadly there are no shows in The netherlands yet so i must look out for The nearest option.
If you get a chance to see Ben you must grab it .
And you to will have an evening you'll never forget..xxx
I didn't know who ben was but as a elvis lover decided to go to his show last weekend in invercargill new zealand, I was almost in tears this sexy amazing man took me to a place where I felt I was watching elvis, thank you so much for one of the best nights of my life ben..cant wait till you come back
